Home to the largest contingent of the young professionals, the Rochester chapter is also where Young Professionals NeXus started. The Rochester chapter holds various events including holiday parties, professional development seminars, volunteer activities, and various outings into the Rochester area.

President: The President of the Rochester Chapter will help lead the future direction and mission for YP NeXus of Rochester. The Rochester President represents YP NeXus both internally within Xerox and externally, providing the key link between the YP NeXus of Rochester and the greater Rochester area. This individual will not only be in charge of scheduling regular meetings for the chapter, ensuring Rochester board members are staying on track with tasks, and coming up with new and innovative ways to engage members further. In addition you will be representing the Rochester chapter at monthly YP Executive Presidents meetings.
Vice President: The VP of the Rochester Chapter will assist the President in the above roles and responsibilities. In addition to assisting the President, the VP will further help to facilitate operational tasks including developing innovative ways of recruiting new members, sending regular website updates to the website manager (Michelle Spang), records of past and future board and member meetings, and ensure chapter is communicating with members in a timely manner. In the absence of the President, the Vice President assumes the role of the President.
Social Chair: As the social chair you will work with the other local board members to identify social activities relevant to the interests of the YP NeXus Rochester members. As part of this position you will have full responsibility for setting up/developing chapter events as needed, from the annual kick-off to the end of the year celebration and anything in-between. In addition to identify and setting up events, you will also be in charge of effectively communicating up-coming events to local chapter members, tracking participation, and taking photos at events capturing all the fun.
